Five fuel-saving technologies for diesel generator sets

 

 

(1) Use a fuel-saving and smoke-reducing device. Vertically fix the fuel-saving and smoke-reducing device in the front oil circuit of the fuel injection pump and connect it to a DC power supply. When used on a diesel generator set, it significantly reduces smoke, reducing environmental pollution and saving approximately 5% of fuel.

 

(2) Install an inertial turbocharger. Installing an inertial turbocharger on a diesel engine can generally increase power by 15% and reduce fuel consumption by 3%~5%.

 

(3) Wrap toilet paper around the filter element. Wrapping 2-3 layers of highly absorbent toilet paper around the diesel engine oil filter element can improve fuel cleanliness and reduce fuel consumption.

 

(4) Install a foam plastic air filter. Adding a layer of 8-20mm thick, highly permeable foam plastic between the two layers of the air filter can improve filtration efficiency, ensure normal fuel combustion, and reduce fuel consumption.

 

(5)Reroute the return oil pipe. Connecting the diesel engine's return oil pipe to the high-pressure oil pipe allows the return oil to enter the low-pressure oil circuit, ensuring normal combustion and resulting in significant fuel savings.
